Home… to some it is a haven and for others a mental or physical warzone. Home is the beginning for everyone however it colors all of our lives so differently. As we grow we begin to build our own since of home in acts of exploring and deepening roots, the grass becomes greener where we water it.

 In the age of tech, we have become more globally connected than ever. This has resulted in an increase of displacement due to environmental and political catastrophe, and I find myself thinking of the idea of home more often. 

Home is not just a physical destination but a place that resides within us. There are deep intrinsic values within ourselves that become outliers to material destruction … such as tradition, culture, recipe, storytelling, and skills that shine brightly in our minds as we remain in a world of constant change and flux.  Some cities and homes prevail while others turn to ruin. What ultimately do we decide to keep and cherish?
